San Antonio’s Performing Arts Unveil Their 26–27 Lineups

San Antonio’s performing arts scene is stepping into the 2026–27 season with more energy, ambition and creativity than ever. From bold new productions to beloved classics, the city’s leading arts organizations are rolling out lineups that showcase just how vibrant and diverse our cultural community has become. Whether you’re into symphony, theatre, dance, opera or something a little unexpected, this season promises fresh stories, unforgettable performances and plenty of reasons to spend more nights out soaking up the arts across the Alamo City.

Majestic Theatre

Broadway in San Antonio at the Majestic Theatre brings the magic of New York theater straight to the Alamo City, offering locals a chance to experience hit musicals, beloved classics and new touring productions without ever leaving town. Each season fills the Majestic Theatre with big talent, big stories and the kind of showstopping moments that make live theater unforgettable. Whether you’re a longtime theater fan or just looking for a night out that feels a little extraordinary, this series delivers something special for everyone.

Tobin Center for the Performing Arts

The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts is one of San Antonio’s top spots for live entertainment, bringing together everything from Broadway shows and concerts to comedy, ballet and local community events. Opened in 2014 on the historic site of the old Municipal Auditorium, the venue brings modern design, great acoustics and lively atmosphere, making it a favorite gathering place for arts and culture in South Texas. A free pre-show lecture will be offered one hour before each performance in the Tobin Center’s Feik Rotunda and is open to all ticket holders.

Youth Orchestra of San Antonio (YOSA)

YOSA transforms young lives through shared musical experiences that inspire possibility and belonging. Its top ensemble, the YOSA Philharmonic, brings together the region’s finest young musicians to perform professional-level works in premier venues, often collaborating with world-renowned soloists and composers.

Gothic Guardians of San Antonio

Fore! Fun! Hit the Alamo City Golf Trail

Almost every city has a municipal golf course or two. Some have more. But almost none of them have a golf trail. San Antonio’s Alamo City Golf Trail is a national standout — eight courses under one name, one reservation system and one nonprofit mission: keep public golf excellent, keep it affordable, and keep the money in the courses instead of in a shareholder’s pocket. Since 2007, when the Golf Trail was put together under the management of the new, nonprofit Municipal Golf Association of San Antonio (MGASA), it has reinvested nearly $44 million in the city’s courses, according to Andrew Peterson, the Association’s President and CEO. Another $40 million in improvements is planned over the next 20 years.
