The Fiesta® San Antonio Commission, Inc. (Commission) is a non-profit, volunteer, self-supporting organization that plans, promotes, coordinates, and preserves Fiesta® San Antonio through support of its Participating Member Organizations in presenting a safe, educational, annual celebration of the diverse heritage, culture and spirit of San Antonio for its residents and visitors.

The Commission will “Party with a Purpose” and celebrate a “Fiesta® for All” in 2025 beginning April 24 to May 4. This 11-day celebration, with more than 100 official Fiesta events held throughout the city of San Antonio, started in 1891 as a one-parade event to honor the memory of those who passed away in the Battle of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. That historic commemoration still takes place, but Fiesta has grown into a celebration of San Antonio’s rich and diverse cultures and, today, is one of this nation’s premier festivals.
Join 2.5 million guests from San Antionio and around the world to enjoy a variety of events like parades, music festivals, cultural celebrations, arts and educational programs, athletic events and much more that support San Antonio area charities. Each of these 100-plus official Fiesta events, coordinated by nearly 100 San Antonio area non-profit organizations, is unique and special to the overall Fiesta experience, and funds raised at these events provide services to San Antonio citizens throughout the year.
Fiesta events occur in all parts of San Antonio, and are truly a Party with a Purpose and celebration of a Fiesta for All as the Fiesta San Antonio Commission provides support to San Antonio area non-profit organizations that support:
- Student Scholarships
- Children’s Charities
- Military
- Health and Wellness
- Pets and Animal Welfare
- Diverse and Cultural Programs
- Special Needs Community
- Arts and Nature
- And many others
The Commission also recognizes nine diverse “Official Fiesta Royalty.” Two “Kings” and seven “Queens” represent diverse organizations and raise money for scholarships and community programs.
The Official Fiesta Royalty are the following (listed in order of year established / recognized by the Fiesta Commission):
- Queen of the Order of the Alamo
- King Antonio
- Rey Feo
- Miss Fiesta
- Reina de la Feria de las Flores
- Fiesta Teen Queen
- Charro Queen
- Queen of Soul
- Miss San Antonio
The Commission recognizes its own Official Fiesta Royalty member, Miss Fiesta®. The purpose of this important role is to give a talented, hardworking, young woman an opportunity to serve as an ambassador to raise public awareness of Fiesta San Antonio and the Fiesta® San Antonio Foundation.
This year, the Miss Fiesta Program celebrates 75 years, and Kylie Rodriguez, a third-year Neuroscience Major at the University of Texas at San Antonio, was crowned the 2025 Miss Fiesta. She received a $10,000 scholarship from the Fiesta San Antonio Foundation and will enjoy a thrilling, community service-oriented reign attending dozens of Official Fiesta Events, which include riding on the Commission’s Float in the Battle of Flowers® and Fiesta Flambeau® Parades.
Fiesta will officially begin with Fiesta Fiesta presented by Toyota on Thursday, April 24, from 4:00 to 10:00pm in Travis Park in downtown San Antonio. This free admission festival will feature an opening ceremony with the Mayor of San Antonio, a military salute, live music, Fiesta favorite food — Chicken-on-a-Stick, Pin Pandemonium — an area to buy and trade Fiesta Medals, a People’s Parade, sponsor activations and much more.
To help promote each Fiesta Event Member Organization, the Commission is active on the following social media platforms posting daily “Did You Knows” that feature the purpose of the organization and its Official Fiesta event:
